With a whopping resolution of more than 28,000 pixels wide by exactly 1080 pixels high, creating video and motion graphics content for the Microsoft Store was a feat. We did it by building a massive custom render farm, white boarding in secure meeting rooms, and using After Effects, Photoshop, Maya, and Cinema 4D, with Canon and RED cameras as our production toolset. The Microsoft store expanded to over 30 stores in just under 3 years and we created all of the content for it which was absolutely a great time.
Many different executions of the same content were needed to make the themes work in every store.
